Pastor Tim York is a graduate of Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute with an associate degree in ministry. He is also a graduate of Andersonville Baptist Theological Seminary with a Bachelor in Pastoral ministries and Divinity. He is a native of Asheboro North Carolina where he worked in Youth Evangelism and pastored the Shadow of The Cross Independent Baptist Church. On his journey of service for the Lord he pastored Independent Baptist churches in South Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee and Virginia and held offices in many community programs.

While pastoring these churches he also worked in federal programs where he wrote grants for Christian Family Initiatives. He has held secular positions of Asst. Teacher in Behavioral schools and other business-related positions. He learned marketing skills through grant programs and hosted events featuring Henry Winkler, Meadowlark Lemon, Rue McClanahan, and others. Pastor York is the current Pastor of Calvary Independent Baptist Church.
