Is He Lord of All in Your Life?
Acts 10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;
41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
Intro: If He is not Lord of all, He is not Lord at all
We must love the Lord thy God with our whole being
Lu 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
- To be saved we must accept the Lord Jesus Christ (There is something about that name)
Ac 15:11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
Ac 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
- We have power through that name
1 Co 5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
III. We have fellowship with Jesus through that name
1 Co 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
- We have peace through that name
1 Co 1:3 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ
- We are kept blameless through that name
1 Co 1:8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- We have the victory through that name
1 Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ
Conclusion: The Lord Jesus Christ is all we need
Php 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
