Be Thankful

Ps 107:1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Ephesians 5:20 - Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

What Are You Thankful For?

I.  Our Salvation - You must be born again

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life 

Rom. 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

 II.  Knowing we are going to heaven

II Cor. 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

  III.  His protection

Is. 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.  

IV.  His mercy and grace

Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

V.  His provisions

Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

VI.  Our Country

I Tim 2:1I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2  For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

    3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our       Saviour;

VII.  The Church

Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

VIII.  Family

Phil 1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

IX.  Each New Day

Ps. 118:34 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

 Conclusion: Always be grateful!
